Singapore’s Zake Productions has chosen Sachtler and Vinten’s flowtech for its video production. The technology in use is a Flowtech 75 carbon-fiber tripod, equipped with a Sachtler Ace XL camera head to capture 4K footage in in rugged locations. It features fast-to-deploy legs, quick-release brakes and adjustable levers. The three legs can be deployed and adjusted automatically to the ground’s surface, eliminating the need for operators to manually adjust them.

“At Zake Productions, we are looking at innovative ways to give our clients the results, but we need the right tools for the job. When we heard about the easy-to-deploy Flowtech tripod, we knew we had to have one in our operation,” said Zavier Ow, co-founder and producer, Zake Productions.

The video company has used Flowtech on a range of productions, including corporate shoots, commercials, and feature-length documentaries. Most Zake projects use a two-person crew; therefore, speed and ease of setup are essential. One Flowtech feature is its ability to adjust to heights as low as 26 cm (10 inches) and as high as 153 cm (60 inches), without the detachable spreader; and up to 157 cm (62 inches) high with the spreader.
