Riedel to introduce revolutionary innovations

At BroadcastAsia 2018, Riedel displayed real-time networks for audio, video, data and communications. This included Bolero, a wireless intercom system that is available as a standalone version, or can be integrated into the company’s digital intercomsystem, Artist.
The company also unveiled MediorNet MircoN, which will enable revolutionised video routing, allowing a decentralised infra- structure that can be used as a virtual multi-viewer or a SMPTE 2110-Gateway. Additionally, it presented the latest addition to its product portfolio, the RSP-1232HL Smartpanel. This allows the user to switch from the intercom system to video control.
Besides product displays, Riedel held the Teatime Tech Talk at its booth for the third year, gathering international experts to discuss the latest technology developments impacting broadcasters. Hosting the discussion, Cameron O’Neill, sales director, Riedel APAC, moderated the Tech Talk with a focus on the IP as well as its adoption, implementation issues, and real opportunities moving forward. Other panelists included Do Duc Khang, president, Vietcoms, Vietnam; Sanjay Duda, CMO, ESCL, India; Loh Siu Yin, owner of Beyond Broadcast LLP, Singa- pore and Aale Raza, MD of Singapore-based Whiteways Systems.
