Merapar, a trailblazer in media technology and cloud software, has embarked on its next phase of growth by inaugurating a North America office and appointing Dan DAlessandro as VP Sales and Mike Buckley as VP Operations. This strategic move aims to bolster Merapar’s footprint in the North American market and capitalize on its existing clientele, which includes prominent names like Comcast Sky, NBCUniversal, PBS, and Warner Bros. Discovery.
The expansion into North America aligns with Merapar’s commitment to fostering close relationships with customers for agile engagement and efficient delivery. Both Dan and Mike are set to engage with current and prospective clients at the NAB Show 2024, where Merapar will showcase its offerings as part of the AWS Partner Village (West Hall).
According to Alex Terpstra, CEO of Merapar, the increasing demand for their services underscores the need to provide localized support to American customers. He expressed his delight at having Dan and Mike onboard to spearhead the establishment of the US office and drive the company’s growth agenda.

Before joining Merapar, Dan DAlessandro served in senior sales leadership roles at Mediakind, Harmonic, and Ericsson, while Mike Buckley brings extensive experience from Mediakind, Ericsson, and TANDBERG Television, among others. Their combined expertise is expected to propel Merapar’s business forward in the dynamic North American market.
