A TOUCH OF GOLD
“I was at IBC2018, when I had a conversation on the growing demand for post-production services from professionals from Dolby Laboratories. I learnt that OTT platforms like Netflix were appointing partners for their original content globally. Netflix’s officials flew down to our office in Mumbai, and they were impressed by what we had built and our quality of work. Netflix is breaking barriers and is on top of its OTT game. And now I’m proud to say that we are a Netflix-certified post-production partner,” elaborated Anant.
Famous recently delivered creative picture post for Vir Das: For India, which was entirely shot at its studios, and creative audio post for Ghost Stories, directed by Zoya Akhtar. Famous is now working with Disney to deliver 5.1 audio mixes for all its Hollywood titles in multiple languages.

Famous is the first studio in India to use MOCAP as a breakthrough technology for TV commercials as well. “I feel proud and happy to still be closely involved with the film industry, and I think will always be. Our legacy is a stamp,” said Anant. Another latest facility, the Phantom Flex Lab is a futuristic lab dedicated to those high-speed table-top shoots with modern control and customised rigs for the FMCG ads.
