If Ki & Ka managed to captivate audiences, then a fair share of the credit goes to Chandan Arora. Even before winning the Filmfare Award for Best Editing for Company in 2003, he had anchored himself in the industry by cutting a string of films to shape, chiefly Raju Chacha (2000), Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (2001), Cheeni Kum (2007) and Krrish 3 (2013).

He is one of the few technicians lucky to realise his dream of film direction with Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon (2003) following it with the Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh (2005) and Striker (2010). His directorial experience has polished his editing skills as he keeps a film short considering the short attention span of audiences. This is unmistakable in Ki & Ka, which conveys the frenetic pace of modern lives, through its staccato scenes, best sampled by the quirky interactions and quick development of the romance between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
