The Global Content Bazaar 2017, a B2B international content market for the media and entertainment industry, will be held from 12th to 14th January, 2017 at the World Trade Centre in Mumbai. The organizers of the event, Saicom Trade Fairs & Exhibitions, claimed that companies from Nigeria, Russia and China have already confirmed their participation in this exhibition and are now awaiting confirmations from America, Korea, Japan, as well some European countries.

The event is targeted at buyers, sellers, distributors and syndicators for all types of content industries including films, television, mobile TV, IPTV, gaming, amongst others. The show reportedly has the support of several film and television trade bodies and associations, including the Film Federation of India (FFI), which is an apex body of 31 trade associations including 18,000 Indian film producers, 20,000 distributors, 12,000 exhibitors and various studio owners.

The organizers also said that the Global Content Bazaar is supported by the Indian Council of Impex for Film and TV Programmers, an association of buyers and exporters of international film and television content.
