EasyBroadcast, a leading provider of end-to-end streaming solutions and technologies for TV channels, OTT service providers, and enterprises, today announced that the company's Vice President of Business & Product Development and Head of Americas, Alex Beach will participate in a webinar during TVOT LIVE! Leadership Congress 2020. The webinar will focus on why Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV Services (FASTs) are popular with viewers and advertisers as well as increasingly becoming attractive acquisition targets for broadcasters, replacing many smaller cable networks to shape the future of TV.

"Ad-supported video streaming is accelerating, and the industry needs to learn more about how it will impact the future of TV," said Beach. "Through this webinar session, I'll highlight techniques for reducing pressure on content delivery networks while guaranteeing high quality of service and quality of experience."

On Thursday, Sept. 10, from 1:30-2:05 p.m. EDT, Beach will join a panel of industry experts to discuss "Life in the FAST Lane: The Rise of the FASTs." The panelists will provide insights into why the future of TV is likely to be bundles of Flixes (the multibillion dollar subscription services) and FASTS. In particular, Beach will add input on how EasyBroadcast's Viewer-Assisted Delivery technology changes the economics of video streaming through a hybrid combination of CDNs and viewer-to-viewer adaptive streaming. With nearly 20 years of experience in traditional and digital media, Beach is an expert in the video streaming ecosystem.

TVOT LIVE! is a virtual event hosted by Interactive TV Today (ITVT) and The TV of Tomorrow Show (TVOT), bringing together industry leaders to celebrate the achievements of their peers and share and debate their visions for the future of the television industry as our society and economy re-emerge from the current crisis. The event will provide an unparalleled opportunity to hear from and interact with industry leaders into tomorrow.
