After his studies when Rishi Khemka joined his family trade, Aditya Infotech, he established a software division specialising in solutions for animation, gaming, broadcast, VFX and media domains. In 2012, seeing the tremendous scope for systems integration and value added distribution in this division, he set up ARK Infosolutions and since then, this company has executed several projects, especially in VFX.
Last year, it worked with Autodesk using its Flame Premium software to create stylish promos for Viacom18’s MTV brand. This software was used for its reality show ‘Roadies’, where the show’s packaging, its before-and-after footage, etc, were graded on Autodesk Lustre to add the dark vibe Roadies is known for.
After the shots were embellished with red and black hues, they were reshot in Flame. Various 3D elements like CG chopper, motorcycle wheels, etc, and some natural elements like rain and fire were added, and the spot for the Roadies Season 12 was ready to go.
With such successful projects in his portfolio and over 15 years in the creative field, Khemka launched a comprehensive creative education program under the ‘MindBox’ brand with complete solutions for school-going children up to 12th standard. Leveraging the technology expertise that his company already has, he plans to employ this in the education domain using the ‘Technology as a Tool’ concept in schools through project and design-based teaching methodology.
