Expanding its product portfolio, Bittree has introduced 12G video distribution amplifiers, which condense signal distribution footprint in high-density and compact form factor. The amplifiers support 12Gb/s data rates needed for single-link 4K/Ultra HD transport.
Available in a co-axial model and a hybrid configuration, the amplifier family combines 2RU frames with one or more 1×4 DA cards. It can be combined with DABX cards, with each card featuring one input and four outputs with DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors on the rear of the module. The cards are compliant with SMPTE 259M, 292M, 344M, 424M, ST2081-1 and ST2082-1 technical standards and enable distribution of analog, SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 4K video with embedded audio.
In addition to the SFP interface and DIN co-ax connections on the rear of the card, each DABFX offers two mini-WECO jacks, which allow direct patching between the amplifiers and 12G+ mini-WECO co-axial patch-bays.
“ With our new amplifiers, system integrators can build 12G systems that combine co-ax, fiber and IP network connectivity with robust patching and distribution functionality,” said Ari Baron, GM, Bittree.
